I bought the padlock to leave outside for my kids so they can get in after school and don't have to keep a key with them. (they lost some). Easy to change code and configure!!This lock box is easy t use however the weather cover broke off or was broke during shipping as when I opened it, it fell off and a piece hit the floor. Makes me wonder about the rest of the product. I am a commercial real estate agent and cannot have keys to a building being taken and copied. I hope the remainder of the box functions properly since it looks to have potential use and sturdiness.This box fit my key and gate opener. I needed that extra space for that purpose. However, the box is not waterproof, so be careful where you place it. My garage remote got soaked. Rice to the rescue!Easy to set up, really easy to useHad this for a year, now the opening latch has jammed fully. It quickly developed surface rust and scuff marks around frequently pressed numbers (basically giving away the code since the order doesn't matter.) Now its unusable. Would not recommend unless it never gets wet and only sees occasional use.I needed a lock box to place outdoors and that was easy to open in the elements. I like the push buttons making it easy to open up and get at what is inside. This also arrived very quickly.The lock itself is sturdy it’s just a little annoying you have to enter the code again to close the device. Then again it’s worth the slight inconvenience to me in the event of a lockout or a family member needing access.I previously bought a master lock that was similar to lock my key fob in while surfing as my car fob Auto unlocks from the inside of my vehicle. It said it was compatible for fobs but it wouldn’t shut. Amazon recommended this to me instead and it works great. It’s slightly more expensive than what I originally purchased but I’m super excited that I finally have a solid product that works. It’s very durable and cannot foresee it getting broken into.
